This was an amazing year for Via Nocturna. Intense, challenging and rewarding at the same time. In a way it was also unbelievable not only because that we quadrupled the amount of our annual releases (that’s just statistics) but we bonded with 30 great bands and a whole lot more artists that are commited to what they do. I’m also proud to say that our work was acknowledged by the fans.
There’s never enough time to think about it when you work on the releases, try to keep up the schedule and struggle with the CD manufacturing process. When you race to the Post Office and try to deliver what is expected… But in the end, when you know that you are doing something that fun and entertaining for the people it’s what really matters to me.
I’m an avid music fan and I do have an urge to explore my favourite genre and share with my findings with others. That’s what Via Nocturna is all about. I believe that there is still much great music to be heard and if you indulge me, I will do my best to share it with all of you in 2017.
