For over 20 years, Anders Manga has been one of the most interesting musicians emerging from the American darkwave scene. You might know him also from the doom metal / hard rock duo Bloody Hammers, which he created with his wife Devallia back in 2012.
This track entitled “Glamour” was used in Season 4 Episode 04 of The Vampire Diaries, a CW hit show from 2012.
Influenced by Alice Cooper, Manga has created a haunting stage persona. His darker and more aggressive side can is all around in Bloody Hammers. The band, currently on Napalm Records, has released 6 full-length albums and a handful of EP-s as well.
I’ve been personally a fan of Anders Manga since the release of “Left Of An All-Time Low” in 2006, which remains my favorite Manga album to this day.
